When my willpower gave me success

With the blessings of all my teachers , I had an unforgettable experience which became one of the best days of my life. 

This was the day when I represented my school  in a swimming competition  .

 I was to participate in the 50 metre Freestyle swimming event . After reaching  the sports stadium , I got to know that due to some rules of the competition , I would not be able to participate in freestyle swimming .   So , I made a quick decision to opt for Backstroke swimming.  I was tensed as I knew I was not as good at backstroke as I was at freestyle swimmimg .

Anyways , I gathered up all my confidence and told myself that I would put in all my efforts to swim 50 metres , whether I would win or lose. The instructor blew the whistle and everyone took a push . A while later , I started running out of breath but my will power  kept me going through the waves . As soon as I reached the finishing point , I closed my eyes for a second , took a deep breath , eager to know my position . 

When I opened my eyes and saw that I was the first one to finish the race of my heat, I was so happy and felt accomplished . I now believed it even more that -

"It is the willpower and the action that makes one succeed"

And you know what , after this day , my swimming passion has become stronger !

And wonder why I said in the beginning  that is happened with the help of the blessings of all the teachers , because this big day was 5 ^th September 2019 , Teacher ‘s Day .
