Does Social Media Corrupt Human Interaction ???

Our last day in school before the winter vacations was a very fun day . Our school had planned many activities like movies , crafts and a Debate competition . Out of the many topics , I and my partner chose the topic ‘Social Media corrupts human interaction’ . I decided to speak in favour of the notion . This is how my speech went  :

“I fear the day when technology will surpass our human interaction . The world will have a generation of idiots.”

This was a statement quoted by a very famous scientist ‘Albert Einstein’ about a hundred years ago . Look how well this man known for relativity could anticipate the future of human interaction . Well,this is what we are going to talk about today .

Remember the olden days when people used to meet and greet each other , when children used to play merrily with each other and when they used to enjoy their lives .

And now , even I feel like going back to those days especially when my grandparents tell me about how beautiful those times were .

Nowadays , Social Media has become everything for the children as well as for the adults .

People may not know each other in person , but they definitely have lots of friends on social media like Facebook , Instagram , Snapchat , Twitter etc.

On any special occasion as well , we may not expect anybody to come and meet us personally but we can surely be ready to reply to their messages online .

Instead of spending time with friends and family , posting pictures on social media and watching videos on Youtube has become more important for the young generation and they cannot spend a day without it .

At last , I would like to conclude by saying that social media corrupts human interactions and affects the bonding of the people .

"Let us not be the slaves of social media . Let us be humans in the real sense." 

After the debate competition , we friends got busy enjoying our party tiffins , movies and sharing jokes .
