Kamyabi toh jhak mar ke piche aayegi !
Recently our school conducted an "Exam Utsav"for the students in which many experts told us about exam stress and ways to overcome it .
Their speeches are really helpful for me so I thought why not share them with you .
As exams have already started , there is a lot of pressure on the children about getting good marks in their examinations . So , it is very common to have anxiety and stress during this time.
Now talking about stress , many children take too much stress during exams . So , there should be no fear of failure .
To reduce stress , it is very important to never ignore the signal you get from your mind and to plan syllabus in the starting of the session . It should be planned in months , weeks , days and hours .
Another tip that I want to share with you is PDCA .
PDCA stands for :
P - Plan
Plan your syllabus nicely and also include play time and relax time in your schedule .
D - Do
Try to follow your schedule as planned and do not linger it on to some other day.
C - Check
After revising your syllabus , self test yourself by taking quizzes or telling your parents to ask you questions .
A - Act
Practice enough so that you can easily remember your syllabus during examination and score well.
Now , if we talk about memory and learning , everyone has a different learning style and memory . So , the first step is to identify your own learning style .
Memory is also of two types . First is short term memory and second is long term memory .
According to a scientific research , reading adds to short term memory whereas research and conceptual understanding adds to long term memory .
So , if the subject demands practical ,do it . If it demands conceptual understanding , understand it and if it demands practice , do it .
At last , I (and Aamir Khan)would say
Do your best , practice and don't take too much stress......
All the best !

"Mehnat poori karo par marks sab kuch nahi hain "Stress remains positive till some point but becomes negative if taken too much.
