On 15 October, Yousafzai travelled to the United Kingdom for further treatment .She was treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital .

The murder attempt received worldwide media coverage and produced an outpouring of sympathy and anger. Protests against the shooting were held in several Pakistani cities the day after the day of the attack.
Yousafzai spoke before the United Nations in July 2013, and had an audience with Queen Elizabeth II in Buckingham Palace.

On 10 October 2014, Yousafzai was announced as the co-recipient of the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize for her struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education.
Yousafzai is the youngest Nobel laureate as she received the prize at the the age of 17. She shared the prize with Kailash Satyarthi.
She is an amazing lady and has also wriiten a book describing her life , named 'I am Malala'.

And I also just finished reading her story in the kid's edition book . It was really fun and interesting to read that I finished it in 2 days and trust me I have never read a complete book this fast !
