Neemrana - A palace turned hotel #BlogchatterA2Z

 A fort built on the 2 billion years old Aravali hills, the Neemrana Fort . 

Now it is a 558 year old palace turned hotel located on the Delhi - Jaipur highway . 

The fort was built in 1464 by the Chauhan rulers . However it was abandoned in 1947 at the timr of partition and later it was acquired in 1986 .

 It was then converted into a luxurious 4 star hotel . 

Now it has several suites on 14 different levels that have been cut into the hill ! 

Astounding . Isn't it ?
